"Our Special Time"

This painting came from my desire to express not only the visual beauty but also the peace that
comes for me as I enjoy special time with God in the morning. One morning as I set my bible
down and sat there talking to God I noticed that even the scene was beautiful and not contrived
or arranged, from the sunlight shining through the window to my cup of tea. I just had to capture
that moment including the Psalm I had been reading in the bible. My favorite verses from
Psalm 32 are highlighted in yellow in the painting as they are in my bible and can be read
(though not easily) in the painting.
